Except that the next time you upgrade your ports tree, your changes will be overwritten. Check out the /usr/local/etc/pkgtools.conf file. This is how you can use your own make(1) options using portupgrade consistently. The options you can use for each port can be found in its respective Makefile. Cheers - Erick
