https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D249284 Bug ID: 249284 Summary: sysutils/e2fsprogs: touches files outside ${LOCALBASE} Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: mandree@FreeBSD.org Reporter: kaktus@FreeBSD.org Assignee: mandree@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(mandree@FreeBSD.org) I noticed that this port installs additional files in system /sbin (!), whi= ch came as a surprise. Can the installation of /sbin/fsck_ext2fs etc=E2=80=A6= be made a port configuration option? Not everyone expects (and wants) ports to touch system directories :-( I understand the use case, just want an option :-) --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
