https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=200214 Bug ID: 200214 Summary: Asks for passphrase twice when booting into encrypted ZFS single disk install Product: Base System Version: 10.1-STABLE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: aaron.miller04@gmail.com I installed FreeBSD without any unusual options, but with ZFS and disk encryption (I didn't do any command line stuff during the install, just selected those options in the installer). I selected a Dvorak keylayout. Expected: My passphrase is asked for once, using Dvorak, during boot. Actual: My passphrase is asked for using Dvorak, then much later in the boot (after the daemon ASCII art), I am asked for the passphrase again, and I have to use the qwerty keylayout. The prompt for the second time reads "Enter passphrase for ada0p4: ". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
