Message-ID: X-no-archive: yes MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hiyall, I just performed a 'make upgrade' on my 2.2.8 system and now it won't boot at all. The upgrade appeared to go fine, with no error messages. When I try to mount the / filesystem in sysinstall (using the 3.3 CD), I get the error: Disk slicing warning: Root filesystem extends past cylinder 1024 and cannot be booted from. Then when the system boots, it returns the error: no /boot/loader invalid format Is there any solutions to this problem? Regards, d.
