Personally I like having a large /usr since I usually end up really hurting myself by trying to split it up into /usr and /v (where /v has /v/home). The problem usually being that I end up with too partitions both of which are just too small to build a release on, for example. The other really big problem is that new users don't know what they need for a given machine, so having a 'mail server', 'desktop', etc. option in sysinstall to help with layout would go a long way to actually making FreeBSD user to non-uber-hackers. -- John Baldwin <jhb@FreeBSD.org> <>< http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/ "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-arch" in the body of the message
