It doesn't -- neither to play CDs nor MP3s (cdcontrol play/mp3blaster). It worked long ago (freebsd 3.5 or so) and of course is find under W98. What's my problem? My only guess is that irq 11 is used by the NVidia in pci1 and irq 11 is also used by SBLive on pci0. I've no clue if this is a problem or, if so, how to overcome it. I'm running -STABLE with basically a GENERIC kernel (only mod is to shorten SCSI_DELAY & enable IPSEC). EMU10K is enabled via loader.conf. HELP! (bootup messages attached). TIA, Kent --------------F9BEAAB8F39511973F576504 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; name="messages" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="messages" Apr 22 20:46:30 chapel-hill /kernel: Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project.
