It appears the the URL is incorrect. I found samba at ftp://samba.anu.edu.au/pub/pub/samba/ but I dont know if it's what you want. I think. BTW: it's no help to you now, but I plan to install SAMBA myself and add the instructions to The FreeBSD Diary.
