Hi, Just wondering if the de ethernet driver should support the following card (as identified by the tulip.c driver under Linux): tulip.c:v0.89H 5/23/98 becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov eth0: Lite-On 82c168 PNIC at 0xf800, 80 00 30 19 01 21, IRQ 5. It works great under Linux but during a FreeBSD 3.0-RELEASE install from a CheapBytes CD, it does not show and only assumes that I want to have SLIP or PPP interfaces when I try to configure the network, which as you might well understand, is a bit of a pain in the butt. I could not see it specifically mentioned on the ethernet cards pages at http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook10.html#10, but the Tulip devices have in the past been pretty generic, hence why I'm asking this question. Hoping you can shed some light on things, Grant Bayley ___________________________________________________ Grant Bayley - Network Administrator, Batey Kazoo Communications - Administrator, The AusMac Archive http://www.ausmac.net/ gbayley@ausmac.net __________________________________________________ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
