It's not meant to be. The reality is that Core Team members and committers have said again and again that they do not *CARE* if anyone uses FreeBSD. Whenever somebody asks why "xxx" feature is not available, they need to realize why! I know I'm rehashing a very old subject here, but the only way any one works on Free software in general is doing stuff that interests them, or addresses their immediate needs/contract/concerns. I.E, the orginal SCSI code came out of a contract one of the Core Team members had, there had been discussions up to that point to add it, but nobody really "needed," it at the time so it wasn't already there.
