Responsibilities will include: software and hardware installation, configuration, trouble-shooting, capacity planning, and system tuning to optimize performance. Must be familiar with TCP/IP, DNS and BIND, NFS, Perl, shell scripting, apache web servers, and network security conventions. Must have 3+ years UNIX experience, preferably plenty of BSD. NT, Solaris, and Intel hardware experience are definite bonuses, as are any experience with mod_perl, qmail, sendmail configuration, kerberos, ssh, software porting, C/C++ programming, and so on.
