What is a reasonable upper limit on the number of NFS servers started in
/etc/rc.conf and what is necessary to start said number?

I changed the "4" in

nfs_server_flags="-t -n 4"

to 64 and only 5 invocations are reported by 'ps', namely:

This server supports multiple qmail machines in a cluster and is
responsible for the mail store. There are multiple invocations of qmail
running on each of the machines in the cluster.

The literature (see
<http://c.home.cern.ch/c/cborrego/www/anis/doc/node6.html>) supports values
at least as high as 48 in Linux, so I'm wondering how to set up a
sufficient number to give good throughput.

Thanks in advance for your reply(s).
