Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi all, I'm running FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE and I got Canon S400 printer (lpt0) I just installed apsfilter and I choosed the bjc800 driver from the ghostscript drivers (I found it the most similar to mine S400). Everything worked fine, I printed the testpage successfully and I read the apsfilter manual page where it says that lpr somefile should print me the file. But this doesn't work. I have lpd running and I tried even lpr -Plp myfile.txt and doesn't work. If someone can help me make my printer work ? If it prints the test page it should print and mine. Here is mine /etc/printcap: lp|local line printer:\ :sh:\ :lp=/dev/lpt0:sd=/var/spool/output/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs: thanks.
