Doing STARTTLS is better than SMTPS, because it is backwards compatible with traditional SMTP. In any event, to answer your question, install /usr/ports/security/stunnel, and read the manpage-- which is very well written, and has examples of doing SMTP and IMAP over SSL, I believe... -- -Chuck
