I think you shouldn't do that.
1. hamradio@ might be shallow in reality (like haskell@ currently
consisting of me only), so if you're undeprecating some port take the
responsibility and set the maintainer field to yourself.
2. the port was marked deprecated because gtk2 is deprecated. It will
still be removed, but now it will become a surprise for its users
