I appreciate the quick response, however as I said in the original post, the files themselves are not the problem -- they are already there. But not to make a complete fool out of myself, I went ahead yesterday and installed the Xprog distrib using sysinstall. It installed correctly, and sure enough when I tried to compile anything using the X includes, the same problem appears. I get the message about the file not being there, despite the fact that I'm sure it is. What could the problem be?
