I need reconnect every time, and this time too often :( There is no problem when I use some terminal prog to establish shell access. I have a good telephone line, modem seems ok. Looks like some ppp params need adjustment but I don't know which. Here is part of my /etc/ppp/ppp.conf -- Cut -- default: set device /dev/cuaa1 set speed 38400 disable lqr deny lqr set dial "ABORT BUSY ABORT NO\\sCARRIER TIMEOUT 5 \"\"AT&F1S6=10L0P OK-AT-OK \\dATDP\\T TIMEOUT 40 CONNECT" tenet: set phone 068 set login "TIMEOUT 5 gin:-BREAK-gin: pss word: xxxxxxxx de:> 3" set timeout 20 set ifaddr 0 195.138.80.60 -- Cut -- Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong ? Thanks. pss // Sergey Pukach // pss@te.net.ua
