I want to upgrade to 2.2.8 (only the bin distribution). I am trying to upgrade from the dos partition. I have made 2 directories c:\freebsd\bin and c:\freebsd\floppies as per the manuals. In the c:\freebsd\bin directory, there are all the bin.aa, bin.ab etc. files and the install.sh file. In the c:\freebsd\floppies dircetory, I have the boot.flp file. But whenever I try to upgrade or even install from dos, I get the message that could not open the bin distribution. By the way, the primary dos partition c: has windows nt installed on it.
