You can download "raw" copies of the messages from: http://docs.freebsd.org/mail/ and import these into your mailer, i.e. this week's freebsd-questions traffic is available at: http://docs.freebsd.org/mail/archive/2006/freebsd-questions/20060129.freebsd-questions.html By following the [Archive] link near the bottom of the page, you can download a compressed mailbox with the messages displayed in each week's listing. Then replying works as usual :)
