I have a Yamaha OPL3 ISA Sound card, and I have compiled a new kernel with the following options: controller snd0 device opl0 at isa? port 0x388 When I boot with that kernel I get `opl0 at 0x388 not found' After that failed I took that stuff out of my kernel conf file and recompiled. Then I tried the OSS drivers. That works , hoever it seems to crash my box more often than its worth. Has anyone had any success in compiling a kernl that works with the OPL3 card? I have the card plugged into my first ISA slot. (SL1) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have check the archives with no help. Thanks!
