Folks, I'm trying to produce a list of applications you'd use FreeBSD for, and, for balance, I need a list of types of applications that FreeBSD doesn't cut it at yet. So far I've got CAD / CAM -- No applications available Finance -- we've got spreadsheats, but nothing like Quicken, MS Money, or QuickBooks. Apps like Gnumeric aren't there yet for the home user. Cutting edge multimedia -- Shockwave, et al. We tend to lag behind when it comes to players, and we don't have any decent authoring software. That's about it. Are there any other application segments that FreeBSD isn't represented in (from a home or office user perspective)?
