Hello. I have installed FreeBSD v. 2.2.6. on my system. I have the 4 CD set
from Walnut Creek and installed it from a DOS partition. When I try to
install from CD-ROM (changing the install media to CD) I get an error that
says "This looks more like an audio CD than a FreeBSD release. I have a
Sony Model # CDU33a-01 that I have been able to mount using mount _9660.
When I have the FreeBSD CD Rom #1 or 4 in the device, I get an error that
the CD-ROM looks more like an audio CD. Disks 2 and 3 never get detected by
the machine, the light just flickers and flickers.
I have the the OS installed but would like to install some applications
from the CD. Without the ability to properly "see" the CD, that wont
happen. Do you have any ideas.
