^^^ this recent addition/change to firefox is excellent. I can now do
video conferencing using my webcam (logitech C920) microphone & camera,
and have the audio coming out the USB DAC audio speakers (configured by
the usual sysctls).

thanks jbeich@ & hps@ for firefox & webcamd that make all of this work.
