How about we don't :-). Let's just use whatever "more" is as the pager, the way it has always been. In new releases, more is less (or less is more, or something), so there shouldn't be a problem, right? That said, there's still plenty of cleanup that needs to be done in some combination of /etc/{profile,csh.*}, /usr/share/skel/dot.*, and /etc/root, including making them a bit more consistent. I cleaned up a bit before the 4.0/5.0 branch, but more could be done.
