I misspoke it is a P3 system. I would have never guessed that a 20 pin would work. Thanks for the info. The motherboard is notched for the drive bays. I think I am going to get a Lian-Li case with an Enermax power supply like my little brother did. FreeBSD should scream on this puppy. The motherboard is an Intel L440GX+ with a 24 pin power # connecter. Sounds like it's a dual P3 system (the 440 series chipset only support the P2 or the P3 processors). # What are the good case, power, cooling options out there? I need to try # and not spend a bundle. According to the specification document for the board, it will be able to take a standard ATX power supply with only 20-pins. The spec PDF can be found at: ftp://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/l440gx/254151-003.p df As far as the case is concerned, you will probably have to find a case that is capable of holding an Extended ATX motherboard, like the Addtronics 7890 or the Supermicro 760 series. -- Linh Pham lplist@closedsrc.org Webmaster and FreeBSD Geek http://closedsrc.org closedsrc.org Every solution breeds new problems To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
