>Description:
I'm using web-server with php5-oci8 support.

The main problem is that the Oracle Database Manager in the field 'Machine' shows result of `uname -r` without first symbol instead the hostname.
I.e ( first string - Apache in native mode, the problem one, the next string is for Apache in Linux emulation - as it should work):

Machine	Machine	OSUser	Server	SID	Status	Terminal	Type	Program

.1-RELEASE
ELPAY	.1-RELEASE	www	DEDICATED	18	INACTIVE USER	? @.1-RELEASE (TNS V1-V3)

BORMAN.CAOTUS.RU
ELPAY	borman.caotus.ru	oracle	DEDICATED	41	ACTIVE USER	? @BORMAN.CAOTUS.RU (TNS V1-V3)

The problems with identifying server (when several web-servers with Oracle support and concurrent connections to the same database are used) are rather unpleasant.
