 There are two drawbacks in the port:
 1) Using CVS is not a good idea because of any change can breaks the 
 port. The best decision is to make snapshots, test it and place on some 
 FTP/WWW site and update the ports accordantly.
 2) You set maintainer field to perl@freebsd.org. You don't want to 
 maintain the port? It's not good for us to add any port without a 
 maintainer. All the more, this port.
