I already downloaded the boot floppies, I even reach the initial installation screen when I boot from the floppies but my hard drive is not recognized I tried to do my homewoork searching the list, I found a cuple of similar questions but I could not find an answer posted. I read about having to spin the hard drive to be recogized but I did not find how. I also read in the HARDWARE.TXT file that the kernel needs "options DEC_1000A" but I do not know how to do it at boot time I have installed a couple of FreeBSD on Intel but it is my first Alpha, I have no other Alpha experience Thanks a lot Santiago Zapata To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
