Yes, I'm saying that FreeBSD cannot be used as an access point with a
hermes/orinoco card... just prism(hostap) can be used as a access point..
Is this right?
Unfurtunately we've tried prism and the timing isn't as good as the
orinocos for long distance customers (12 miles.)
At this point we are just looking for a way to lock a channel permenately
in the psuedo access point mode we're in now, or switch to station-server
star-OS for the hilltops.
