so i tried domain names instead of ip addresses in the virt host stuff

[09/Mar/2002 19:27:35 26880] [warn] Init: SSL server IP/port conflict: foo.bar:443 (/usr/local/etc/apache/httpd.conf:1377) vs. mail.foo.bar:443 (/usr/local/etc/apache/httpd.conf:1390)
[09/Mar/2002 19:27:35 26880] [warn] Init: You should not use name-based virtual hosts in conjunction with SSL!!

but they are NOT at the same ip address

# host foo.bar.
foo.bar has address 128.42.4.62
# host mail.foo.bar.
mail.foo.bar has address 128.42.4.6

so what's the conflict?

randy
