OK, qt wanted my XDG_RUNTIME_DIR being owned by user who runs an application. I changed it from /tmp to ~/.wayland and all works. Can you give one last little hint, if you don't mind? If I decide to stay on wayland, what video player do you suggest? I am using mplayer with vdpau acceleration, which, I think, works only with X. I think, I should try vlc.
