If someone has done this already and can advise me on the best way to proceed, I'd appreciate it! FWIW, I used the Ports Collection to load and build a copy of texinfo. It seems to run OK, but doesn't like the texi files I tried. I looked at the info pages on printing texinfo files and the makefiles in heimdal/doc, but they are a bit baffling to my tired old eyes.
