Does it need to provide this m4 file? When both packages, gnomelibs and libart, installed, the following two (identical!) files cause problems: /usr/X11R6/share/aclocal/libart.m4 # from gnomelibs /usr/local/share/aclocal/libart.m4 # from libart This results in a conflicting dual definition of AM_PATH_LIBART when running the aclocal program!! Manually removing one of the two files, solves this problem. I would recommend to remove this file from the gnomelibs package. Regards, Rob.
