Sorry for the delay.

`My' comapt22 does extract to /usr/lib/compat/aout only ?!? You may find
it at ftp://gwdu60.gwdg.de/pub/FreeBSD/3.1-RELEASE/compat22/compat22.tgz.=
=20
That's *not* a mirror site but it contains 3.1-RELEASE and most of the
packages.=20
