If my system goes corrupt, as painful as it is, I end up doing: rm ~news/db/history* rm -rf rm -rf makehistory -O -I /news/tmp/overlist sort -t' ' +1 -2 !$ | expireindex -a -o -z So far, we haven't come up with a "clean" way of doing it, and its been extensively discussed on inn-workers ... :( Clayton is working on code to greatly speed up and cleanup the whole Overview system, but it hasn't been commit'd yet...he still working on and debugging it...
