After my affirmation, it starts to format the partiti on etc. When it gets to the part when it's trying to install the /var, /usr, a nd other, it comes up with an error saying that it can't install them. Then o I'm sorry, but I'm still not getting a clear picture here. What *precisely* is failing? Look on the debug screen (ALT-F2) and tell me the last thing you see there. Without this info, I'm afraid that I'll have to close this bug report as I can't actually do anything with it. Jordan
