It isn't every time that you su to root it is only when done remotely and at no certain time. I noticed that when the machine reboots the console shows a message to hit a key to stop reboot. I only seen this happen once since most of the time i am coming in remotely. And when i tried to recreate the situation it worked fine. If anyone has an idea on why this machine sporadically reboots. Any information is much appreciated. The error in the console is pasted below. panic: lockmgr: locking against myself mp_lock = 00000002; cpuid = 0; lapid.c = 00000000 boot() called on cpu#0 here is current build FreeBSD ninja.bsdninja.com 4.5-STABLE FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE #0: Thu Mar 7 12:47:14 EST 2002 root@ninja.bsdninja.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/power i386 -- Tim Moore - tmoore@bsdninja.org - http://www.bsdninja.org _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
