Strange. I built the latest apache 1.3.27 by tweaking the Makefile
and md5 sums in the -current ports/www/apache13 and build went fine.

Then I found that it did not understand php4 (although the module mod_php4.so
was loaded - maybe a browser problem? Netscape 7).

Anyway I rebuilt the mod_php4 ports and at the end I' getting:

[...]
*****************************************************************************
===>   Registering installation for mod_php4-4.2.3
Pipe call failed: Too many open files in system
Pipe call failed: Too many open files in system
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 0: Cannot open /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 0: Cannot open /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk
make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue

ANy ideas what this could be?
