But vmware2 starts also with my HT > SMP cpu's. I just reinstalled FreeBSD 4.10, and then installed vmware 3.2. It seems to work well, the mouse is not freezing anymore. Do the patches you posted fix vmware3 so that it works as well on FreeBSD 5.x as it does on FreeBSD 4.x? Do you know when those patches will be committed to the regular cvs tree? I may wait until they are committed, then reinstall FreeBSD 5.x. For various reasons, I have been switching back and forth between 4.x and 5.x every few days, I really need to settle on one of them, lol. Thanks!
