Panasas, Inc., (http://www.panasas.com) is releasing modifications to
FreeBSD 4.3's gdb stubs to allow UDP-based two machine debugging.

The source for these changes is available on SourceForge:

http://ipgdb.sourceforge.net

A snippet from the docs:

The remote debugger functions much like FreeBSD's serial-based two
machine debugger, except it uses udp packets for communication.
A few extra things have been added to the debugging process to
avoid unnecessary walking. So, instead of getting up to press the
any key on the console of a machine in a not-so-near lab, you can
directly connect to your target machine.
