The chart at http://www.cdrom.com/~rab/bsd_chart.html says, in the bottom box in the middle column, that Linux has "no licensing restrictions." This is not so. The GPL severely restricts commercial reuse of the code and prevents the addition of customized features by value-added resellers unless they give away their work (and, hence, their unique advantage).
