All I'm looking for is a break in the "cone of silence" regarding what  
is going on officially regarding perl 5.10 entering the ports tree.   
Is someone (or some group) actively working on it and if so, what is  
the status?  Lack of communications leads directly to people getting  
discouraged and disgruntled.
