I am running (trying to run) XFree86-3.1. I have a ATI Mach32 Ultra Pro (EISA) in my 486DX2. I am using the mach32 X server, but I cannot get X to start, it exits imediatlly with a "signal 12", no other message at all. I have linked the mach32 server to X, and I have played around with the XF86Config file, but I think the problem is more basic. X never starts at all, (yes, I have an extra terminal with no getty on it). Help, I can't just live with ascii access alone. Alan
