Hello,
Your error is likely due to using a recent "ports" tree on an old world
(2.2.6 is almost one year old)
From time to time, files like /usr/share/mk/bsd.port.mk change (in the
/usr tree) and these modifications are neede by the ports, which gives
your error.
One easy (but lengthy) way to correct your error is to upgrade to the
latest version of FreeBSD in the 2.2 branch, that is 2.2.8 via cvsup and
make world (both are explained in the handbook)
