Dear FreeBSD,

Running 4.3 on i386 notebook. Use console a lot any have 3 
config questions:

1. how to set up text consoles to default to 50 lines, 80 
characters?

2. use 8bit iso8859-1, Swiss German keyboard. How to set console 
to correctly show all characters? Now have Swiss font and 
iso8859-1 to ibm437 screenmap. Typed characters show correctly 
but frames e. g. in midc do not.

3. how to get colour terminals on console and X?

Support incl. reference to appropriate docs welcome.
