Depends on your definition of "normal." :) It's not uncommon for there to be small mistakes in a port's plist (packing list) that may be related to configuration options, or outright error. pkg_delete is ultra paranoid about deleting things for you, so you should look at the messages, look at the directories mentioned, and feel free to delete things if you think it's appropriate.
