Dear all!

I have a Toshiba Tecra 700CS series = Laptom with=20 16 MB. Unfortunately, there are some physically damaged bits between = 10MB to 11=20 MB physical memory area. I tried to install 32-bits Operating systems = like=20 Windows 95/NT/ OS/2, major versions of Unix (SUN Solaris for i386, BSD = Unix,=20 Free BSD, SCO Unix, etc.) but could not get my Laptop worked. Only Linux = works=20 on this Laptop because during boot process of Linux I excluded the = 10-16MB area=20 by typing:

    Linux = mem=3D10M

So the system did work, I loaded X = Windows, some=20 applications, etc. I personally do not like Linux very much. I want to = install=20 FreeBSD Unix. I tried to install BSD Unix in my Laptop the way I = installed Linux=20 2.0.xx. But, FreeBSD does not recognize such exclusion. I want to know = is there=20 any way to get ride of such problem with memory in FreeBSD world. I will = appreciate if someone could assist me.

Thanks in advance and best regards,
