The FCS error is bogus - it's probably caused by your ISP issuing a 
login prompt and then detecting that you're talking ppp.  The login 
prompt doesn't make sense to ppp and is treated as a bad frame 
check sequence..

The real problem is two lines before that.  You have no default 
route.  Remove any default router mentioned in /etc/rc.conf or change 
the ``add 0 0 HISADDR'' to ``add! 0 0 HISADDR'' (or ``add! default 
HISADDR'').
