Everything you're asking for (tho I don't know what a "losts" is) is on the freebed web site that you list yourself. Why in the world _not_ to take the handbook off the site? That's what it's there for. If that's a bugaboo, I'd much recommend "The Complete FreeBSD" which you can order quickly at cdrom.com (and acquiring the CD Rom distribution will speed up your installation considerably--to put it mildly).
