I also have a PCG-C1VP and am having similar problems as you are. What I
learned is that Sony computers run great only with original soft ware. I
am looking for some on with the recovery disc for the PCG-C1VP so that I
can get my computer back to original. Do you have the original or copy
that I may purchase from you?
