I've done more than one FreeBSD install in the past month on a machine
with a CardBus wi(4) and on which the CDROM drive is either toasted, or
too power-consuming to use :)

But I suppose it is fair to assume that folk with wi(4) will be able to
boot from at the least the install-only CDs.
